Serge Ibaka is a Congolese-Spanish professional basketball player with an estimated net worth of $33 million.

At the age of 17, Serge Ibaka moved to France and joined a second division basketball team. Then, he transferred to Spain and played for CB L'Hospitalet. He averaged 10.8 points, and 8.2 rebounds. When he participated in the Reebok Eurocamp, he won the MVP award and his performance didn't go unnoticed by the NBA scouts.

He was selected by the Seattle Supersonics as the first round, 24th overall pick during the 2008 NBA Draft. The Oklahoma City Thunder agreed to keep him in Europe and signed a three-year contract with the ACB League's Ricoh Manresa.  Ibaka returned to NBA in 2009 after his short stint in Spain.

During the 2011 lockout, he joined Real Madrid for two months with an option to return to the NBA at the end of the lockout period.
