Spanish basketball player Marc Gasol has an estimated net worth of $40 million. He currently plays in the National Basketball Association for the Memphis Grizzlies taking the center position.

Marc Gasol Saez was born on January 29, 1985 in Barcelona, Spain. He is known to be Pau Gasol's younger brother who was drafter by the Atlanta Hawks, but was later sent to the Memphis Grizzlies. Marc Gasol attended Memphis' Lausanne Collegiate School where he played basketball and was named as  "the Big Burrito."

After graduating from Lausanne Collegiate School, he went to Spain and started playing for the FC Barcelona of the Liga ABC. After spending two seasons with the Akasvayu Girona, he was named as the ACB Most Valuable Player in 2008.

The Los Angeles Lakers selected him as the second round (48th overall) pick of the 2008 NBA Draft. Eventually, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies as stipulated in an agreement involving his brother who was sent to the Lakers.

Since then, he has been playing for the Memphis Grizzlies after he signed a contract with the team on June 23, 2o08. In December 2011, the Grizzlies signed him to a four-year $58 million extension deal.

Marc Gasol was also a member of the Spanish national team which won silver at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics. He also represented Spain which won gold at the 2008 FIBA World Championships in Japan.
