Jared Dudley began his career when he played for Boston College Eagles basketball team. He was known as Junkyard Dog for his toughness in the court. During his senior year, he created 19 points and 3 assists per game.
During the 2007 NBA Draft, he was chosen by the Charlotte Bobcats as the 22nd overall pick during the selection process. Dudley stayed with the team for one season, and played 20 games with the Bobcats.
Dudley was traded to the Phoenix Suns in 2008. He was hailed as NBA TV's BIG Award recipient right after the 2011-2012 NBA season. The following season, along with Jermaine O' Neal, they were named as Suns' captains. He had a brief stint with the Los Angeles Clippers and moved to Milwaukee Bucks in 2014.
