Retired basketball player Horace Grant has an estimated net worth of $35 million. Known for his wraparound protective eyeglasses, this American professional basketball player has attended the Clemson University before he pursued a professional career in the NBA. In 1987, his professional career debuted when he was selected as the 10th overall pick of the Chicago Bulls on the 1987 NBA Draft.
His major break came in when Charles Oakley was traded to the New York Knicks in exchange for the center Bill Cartwright. He then became the team's main rebounder and the third best scoring option after Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. The retirement of Michael Jordan after the 1992-93 season made Grant the second best scoring option behind Pippen.
Not long after, he left the Bulls to join the Orlando Magic with Penny Hardaway and Shaquille O'Neal. The team made it to the 1995 Finals however they were swept by the Houston Rockets. Before the 1999-2000 season started, he was traded to the Seattle SuperSonics. A year later, Grant was involved in a three-way trade which landed him to the team of the defending champion, the Los Angeles Lakers. Lakers was the champion in the 2000-01 season but Grant chose to leave the team and signed in with Magic. When he was removed from the Magic, he went back to Lakers for the 2003-2004 season where they lost against Detroit Pistons on the Finals.
After the 2004 season, Horace Grant decided to retire permanently.
