Sam Hornish Jr. is an American race car driver who has an estimated net worth of $10 million. Currently, he drives the No. 12 Ford Mustang for Penske Racing in the Nationwide Series.

Samuel Jon Hornish Jr. was born in Defiance, Ohio on July 2, 1979. He began racing at the age of 11 in go-karts. He has won several junior titles, he started racing in the World Karting Association circuit in 1993 and has won seven races while posting twenty-nine top-five finishes.

Sam has won the U.S. and Canadian Grand Championships several times before he began racing in the U.S. F2000 Series. In 2000, he started racing in the IRL Series where he became the first ever three-time IRL champion.

Sam Hornish Jr. is also an IndyCar racer who has 19 wins and 47 podiums. In 2006, he began racing for NASCAR and has finished in the Top Ten nine times in the Sprint Cup Series. He has also won one race, one pole, and finished in the Top Ten twenty-five times in the Nationwide Series.
