Mark Martin is an professional stock car racer currently competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. He is driving the No. 14 Chevrolet SS, substituting Tony Stewart who recently had an injury. To date, he has won a total of 49 races in the Nationwide Series. A five-time second placer in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Mark Martin was dubbed "The best driver to never win a championship" by ESPN.

Mark Anthony Martin  was born on January 9, 1959 in Batesville, Arkansas, USA.  In 1977, he was named as the ASA National Tour Rookie of the Year. In 1998, Martin was included in the list of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers.
