Rashad Anton Evans is an American mixed martial artist with a net worth of $9 million. He is currently working with the “Ultimate Fighting Championship”. His fame and wealth came from his wins and accomplishments. Rashad is the winner of Ultimate Fighter 2 in the heavyweight category.
Rashad was born on 25th September 1979 in Niagara Falls. He attended the Wheatfield High School. He was playing his sport while studying, and even made it to the state wrestling finals twice. He did indeed start early, and showed his talents at an early age. He ranked 4th in the category of 145 pounds in 1997 and again in 1998 he was ranked 4th in the category of 171 pounds.
He got enrolled in the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championships under the category of 165 pounds and ended up in the 4th place. He eventually won the title in 2000. Often, he was considered to be the underdog, but he was still able to make it to the finals. In his career, he has defeated many like Tom Murphy, Mike Whitehead, and Keith Jardine. Rashad was however heavily criticised for opposing Matt Hughes, his coach, for showboating during his matches. Finally, he defeated Brad Imes in the finals and won a three-year contract and a brand new car.
Evans and his ex-wife gave birth to a son Rashad Jr. and a daughter Nia. From a previous relationship, he has a daughter, Tahja. Lance, Evan’s brother made a short appearance on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira Vs Team Mir, but unfortunately was eliminated due to a rib injury. Rashad came out in support for the LGBT rights and same-sex marriage in March 2013.
