Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is a former American mixed martial artist and actor has an estimated net worth of $8 million. Born Quinton Ramone Jackson on June 20, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee, he had his first combat sports as a wrestler fro Raleigh-Egypt High School. His successful career included All-State honors. Originally, he intended to pursue a professional wrestling career after high school, yet he continued his amateur career at the junior college level. After discovering mixed martial arts, he trained with BAMMA fighter Lewis Rumble in Las Vegas.
Rampage Jackson has also tried small, regional MMA promotions such as the King of Cage and Gladiator Challenge. He then found himself in Japan’s Pride Fighting Championships where he was marketed and presented as a homeless fighter. He went back to the “big leagues” in the United States. His Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) career began in 2006 with a victory over Marvin Eastman followed subsequent victories over Chuck Liddell and Dan Henderson. He is the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in the UFC.
Jackson even pursued a second career as an actor. He appeared in several movies such as Confessions of a Pit Fighter, Miss March, Bad Guys and The Midnight Meat Train before he starred in The A-Team. He also appeared in an episode of The Kings of Queens, @#!*% and Pimp My Ride. He also had appearances in Never Surrender, Duel of Legends, and Death Warrior. He appeared in the Nike commercial Human Chain and on WWE Monday Night Raw on June 7, 2010 as guest host.
