Pat Barry is an American kickboxer and former mixed martial artist with an estimated net worth of $150 thousand.

Pat Barry started his career when he was trained for sanshou while studying at University of New Orleans. He debuted during the U.S. Open International Martial Arts Championships and won the Sanda Kungfu Federation United States Heavyweight Championship in 2002.

He participated in K-1 competition as Barry was defeated to Scott Lighty during the K-1 World Grand Prix that was held in Las Vegas in 2005. As he faced other fighters such as Aleksandr Pitchkounov, Gary Goodridge, and Richard Nordstrand. He also joined the World Combat League.

With Barry's transition from kickboxing to mixed martial arts, he appeared during the Combat USA: Battle in the Bay 7 in 2008. He did several bouts before debuting in Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Barry's first fight for UFC when he faced Dan Eversen during the UFC 92 in Las Vegas. With his leg kicks that he became known in the ring that standout across the league. As he battled out other fighters such as Christian Morecraft, Shawn Jordan, and Tim Hague, among others.

He decided to retire from MMA on January 28, 2014, as Barry returned to kickboxing via Glory.

Patrick Joseph Barry was born on July 7, 1979 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended University of New Orleans and took up sociology. He is in a relationship with fellow mixed martial artist Rose Namajunas.
