Her interest in figure skating started at an early age of 5 years, when she followed her two elder siblings. By the time Michelle turned 8 years, she started practicing skating very diligently. Every morning before going to school, she used to practice skating. Right after school, she directly went to the rink. She made it a point to practice for 3 to 4 hours every day.
