Ryan Callahan is an American hockey player for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Ryan Callahan honed his skills when he joined the Hilton High School's hockey team for a year. He played for two seasons for the Rochester Junior Americans, and moved to several teams such as Buffalo Lightning. Syracuse Jr. Crunch, and Guelph Storm.

In 2006, he was chosen to play for the American Hockey League's Hartford Wolf Pack. Then, Callahan received his call-up by the New York Rangers in 2006. He was the alternative captain for the Rangers in 2009. He was named the 26th captain of the team on September 12, 2011.

Callahan was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning on March 5, 2014, in exchange to Martin St. Louis.

Ryan G. Callahan was born on March 21, 1985 in Rochester, New York. He is married to Kyla Allison in 2011.
