Michael Cammalleri is a Canadian professional ice hockey player with an estimated net worth of $36 million.

Michael Cammalleri played minor hockey for the Greater Toronto Hockey League's Toronto Red Wings. When he was selected to the Ontario Hockey League Priority Draft by the St. Michael's Majors, he decided to play for the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League's Bramalea Blues.

During his stint with the Blues, he was named the league's rookie of the year at age 15. He received a full hockey scholarship from University of Michigan. Cammalleri played for the Michigan Wolverines' men ice hockey team from 1999 to 2002. He recorded 23 goals, 44 points in 29 games during the 2001-2002 season. Also, he was named as CCHA second team all-star and NCAA first team All-American.

Cammalleri was selected as the second round, 49th overall pick by the Los Angeles Kings during the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He was about to play for the Kings but he failed to join the roster and was assigned to its American Hockey League affiliate, Manchester Monarchs. During his first season with the Kings, he was demoted and was recalled twice by the team. He was a recipient of the Bill Libby Memorial Award in 2006-2007 season.

In 2008, he was traded to Calgary Flames as part of a three-way trade along with Anaheim Ducks. Cammalleri did not re-sign with the Flames after one season, but was again traded, this time for the Montreal Canadiens in 2009-2010 season. He returned to the Flames during the 2011-2012 season.

After four seasons with the Canadiens, Cammalleri transferred to New Jersey Devils as a free agent on July 1, 2014.
