Martin Havlat is a Czech professional ice hockey player with an estimated net worth of $36 million.

Before making a name in National Hockey League, Martin Havlat played for several teams in Czech Republic from 1997 to 2000 such as HC Trinec U20, HC Zelezarny Trinec, and HC Ocelari Trinec. He entered the 1999 NHL Entry Draft as the 26th overall pick by the Ottawa Senators.

His offensive strategies improved during the 2003-2004 season in the 31 games that he appeared with 31 goals and 68 points. Havlat was traded to Chicago Blackhawks during the 2006 NHL off-season. He was selected to play during the 2007 NHL All-Star Game and was named as Blackhawks' MVP for the 2008-2009 season.

Havlat transferred to Minnesota Wild on July 1, 2009 and signed a six-year contract for the team. After spending two seasons with the team, he was again traded, this time for the San Jose Sharks, in exchange for Dany Heatley. During his tenure with the Wild, he was placed on injured reserve. He was the first Sharks player in the franchise history to be brought out from his contract. Three days after he left the team, he was signed as an unrestricted free agent for the New Jersey Devils in 2014.
