Johan Franzen is a Swedish ice hockey player which has an estimated net worth of $4.2 million.

Johan Franzen started his career when he joined the Boro/Vetlanda HC but his stint with the team was put into a halt when he was reprimanded for a year by knocking out a referee. Then, he transferred to the Tranas AIF in 1999 and stayed there for one season.

With his move to Linkoping, Franzen help the club to promote to play in the Swedish league, Elitserien in 2001. He was chosen by the Detroit Red Wings during the NHL Entry Draft in 2004.

He debuted to play during the 2005-2006 season, Franzen appeared in 80 games, and made 16 points. While with the team, he was named by the Detroit Sports Broadcasters' Association as Red Wings' Rookie of the year for 2005-2006 season.

Johan Franzen was born on December 23, 1979 in Vetlanda, Sweden. On August 2, 2009. he married Cecilia and the couple have two children.
