Often regarded as Mr. Hockey, retired Canadian professional ice hockey player Gordie Howe has an estimated net worth of $8 million. Born Gordon Howe on March 31, 1928 in Floral, Saskatchewan, Canada, he is one of the nine children of Ab and Katherine Howe. The family moved to Saskatoon when he was just nine days old. He began playing organized hockey when he was eight years old. He left Saskatoon at sixteen to pursue his hockey career. Today, he is generally regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time.

Howe is most famous for his scoring prowess, physical strength and career longevity. He is the only player to have competed in the NHL in five different decades between 1940s and 1980s.
