Fredrik Modin is a Swedish retired professional ice hockey player which has an estimated net worth of $3.6 million.
Fredrik Modin's career started when he joined the Njurunda Sports Club's youth league. In 1994, he was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs during the NHL Entry Draft.
Four years later, Modin serves as alternate captain for the Maple Leafs. Then, during the 51st NHL All-Star Game, he won the Hardest shot contest. He moved to Tampa Bay Lightning in 1999.
While with the Lightning, he led the team to win the Stanley Cup during the 2003-2004 season. During the NHL lockout 2004-2005 season, he returned to his homeland, Sweden, and played for the Timra IK.
He has been with several teams such as Columbus Blue Jackets, Los Angeles Kings, Atlanta Thrashers, and Calgary Flames. Modin decided to retire from playing ice hockey due to his back injury during his last two seasons with the Calgary Flames on May 19, 2011.
