Dale Hunter is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player and head coach for the Washington Capitals who has an estimated net worth of $8 million.
Dale Hunter started playing ice hockey when he was selected by Quebec Nordiques during the NHL Entry Draft in 1979. After staying for seven seasons with the team, he was traded to Washington Capitals. He became the team captain for the Capitals and led the team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1998.
Then, he moved to the Colorado Avalanche as Hunter helped the team reach the Western Conference finals against Dallas Stars. After he left playing ice hockey, he was the London Knights' co-owner, president and head coach.
Then, he resigned as Knights' head coach on November 28, 2011 and took over the same position at Washington Capitals. A year later, he returned to the Knights for the 2012-2013 season.
Dale Robert Hunter was born on July 31, 1960 in Petrolia, Ontario, Canada. He is married to Karynka Hunter and has three children.
