Brian Campbell is a Canadian professional ice hockey player with an estimated net worth of $45 million.

Brian Campbell started his career for his¬†hometown’s minor hockey team and won the OMHA Championship. He also played for AAA hockey’s Elgin-Middlesex Major Bantam Chiefs and Western Ontario Hockey League’s Petrolia Jets Jr. B team.

In 1995, he was selected as the third round pick by the Ottawa 67’s during the OHL Priority Selection. During his stint with the team, Campbell won numerous accolades such as Max Kaminsky Trophy, William Hanley Trophy and CHL Player of the Year.

After his tenure for Ottawa, he was chosen by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Campbell spent 8 seasons with the team and during the 2004-2005 NHL lockout season, he played for the SM-Iliga Jokerit. In 2008, he was traded to San Jose Sharks.

During his stint for the Sharks, he was named as a member of the NHL Competition Committee on April 21, 2008. Campbell became an unrestricted free agent and signed an 8-year contract with Chicago Blackhawks. After two seasons with the team, he was traded to Florida Panthers.
