Adam Derek Scott, who is popularly known just as Adam Scott is a professional golfer from Australia. Adam Scott has an estimated net worth of $2 million. With 21 professional wins to his credit, Adam ranks among the best golfers in the world. That is a big achievement as he turned a professional only in 2000.

Adam was born in Adelaide, South Australia. However the family moved to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, when he was just nine years of age. He attended both his school and high school education on the Gold Coast. Adam first took up the game when he was studying at the Kooralbyn International School. Golf was his extra subject. He became so attached to the game that it stuck to him. It was only much later of course that Scott decided to take it up as a profession. His initial performance was good and so he was selected in the Golf Australia National Squad.

Adam’s professional performance has been quite outstanding, though there have been a few ups and downs in his playing career. But off late, he has been more consistent with his game. This is why he has been able to win the Masters Tournament in 2013. This is Scott’s first major championship. This is the first time an Australian has won the Masters in 77 years. He finished second in The Open Championship in 2012 as well. However Scott’s reaches his career high ranking of third way back in 2007 after he finished second at the Mercedes-Benz Championship. He has been in the top 10 rankings for 220 weeks.

Scott was dating Ana Ivanovic, the former top seeded tennis player in 2010. They separated, but reunited again a year later. However it didn’t last for too long as they went their own separate ways again.
