Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has an estimated net worth of $40 million.

Virender Sehwag was born on October 20, 1978 in Najafgarh, Delhi, India. He is currently married to Aarti Ahlawat. He has two children named Aryavir and Vedant Sehwag.

Two years after playing in the 1999 One Day International, he finally became a part of the Indian Test team. His test debut was against the South Africa which took place on November 3, 2001. Meanwhile, his ODI debut occurred on April 1, 1999 against Pakistan.

In 2009, he received the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World award for his impressive performance in 2008. This made him as the first Indian to received such award, and also the first cricketer of any nationality to have retained such recognition a year later.

As a professional cricketer, Virender Sehwag holds several records which include the fastest triple century on the international cricket history, fastest 250 by any batsman, as well as the highest score produced by an Indian player in Test cricket.

In early 2009, he was able to re-established himself as among the ODI cricket's  best performing batsmen.
