Colin Edwards is a retired American professional motorcycle racer with an estimated net worth of $1.1 million.

Colin Edwards joined his first motocross race at age 4. He began competing at amateur road racing events and won numerous amateur titles in 1991. The following year, he turned professional. He entered the American Motorcyclist Association 250cc National Series. He won five of nine races and was able to clinch the national title.

He offered a factory position for Yamaha in the Superbike World Championship in 1995. Edwards stayed with the team for two years, despite of the struggles and injuries he incrured during his tenure with the team. He moved to Castrol Honda in 1998.

After Edwards won his 2nd Superbike World Championship, he switched to MotoGP in 2003. The following year, he transferred to Movistar Honda. In 2008, he joined the Tech 3 Yamaha team.

He leave the Tech 3 team to join Forward Racing in 2012. Edwards announced that his final appearance on the race track was during the 2014 season for MotoGP.
