Rick Pitino is a professional basketball coach who has an estimated net worth of $45 million. He worked as the head coach at the University of Louisville between 2001 and 2017. Born Richard Andrew Pitino on September 18, 1952 in New York City, New York and was raised in Bayville, New York. He served as the captain of the St. Dominic High School basketball team in Oyster Bay, Long Island. In 1970, he enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and became a standout guard for the Minutemen basketball team.

Rick Pitino is married to Joanne Minardi with whom he has 4 sons and 1 daughter. He was was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. He is currently the head coach of Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague.
