Joker Phillips is a former American football coach for Florida Gators and former football player which has an estimated net worth of $1.9 million.

Joker Phillips began his football career when he joined as quarterback for the Franklin-Simpson High School's football team. Upon entering college football, he played as wide receiver for the University of Kentucky Wildcats from 1981 to 1984. The team won the Hall of Fame Classic Bowl against Wisconsin Badgers in 1984.

Then, he also played two seasons for the NFL's Washington Redskins, and Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts. After Phillips' career in the field, he started as Kentucky Wildcats' graduate assistant.

Phillips was promoted to assistant recruitment coordinator in 1990, and became the wide receivers coach a year later. With his passion guiding behind the players, he was hired by the University of Cincinnati Bearcats football team as wide receivers coach.

He did some coaching gigs for Minnesota Golden Gophers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and South Carolina Gamecocks.  In 2003, Phillips regained Kentucky Wildcats' offensive strategy. He served as recruitment coordinator and wide receivers coach. Then, in 2009 he was named as head coach of offense for the team.

Phillips was hailed as head coach for the Wildcats in 2010. He was the second African-American head coach for a football team in the SEC.  He left the team with a 1-9 start of 2012 season. In 2013, he was hired by the Florida Gators as wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. On June 11, 2014, he resigned from the position, citing personal reasons.
