Jim Schwartz is a former American professional football coach and currently working as defensive coordinator with an estimated net worth of $5 million.

Jim Schwartz was a four-year letterman for the Georgetown Hoyas football team. His early coaching career started when he became Maryland Terrapins' graduate assistant in 1989.

Then, he moved to Minnesota Golden Gophers as a graduate assistant, North Carolina Central Eagles as secondary, and Colgate Raiders as linebackers. In 1993, Schwartz worked as personnel scout for the Cleveland Browns. He had a two-year stint with Baltimore Ravens as an outside linebacker. He served as Tennessee Titans' defensive coordinator from 2002 to 2008.

Schwartz was hired as Detroit Lions' head coach in 2009, but a weak performance in NFL led him to be fired by the team in 2013. During the 2014 season, he was acquired by the Buffalo Bills as a defensive coordinator.
