Darrell Hazell is an American college football coach for Purdue Boilermakers and a former college football player which has an estimated net worth of $2.4 million.

Darrell Hazell started his career as a football player for the Cinnaminson High School's football team. Then, he attended the Muskingum University. He earned the All-Ohio Athletic Conference honor and has served as team captain since the 1985 season.

As he pursued his career as a coach, he became the running coach for the Oberlin Yeomen football team and spent two seasons with the team. Eventually, Hazell moved to Eastern Illinois Panthers as running back and wide receivers coach.

Hazell also did running back coaching stint at Ohio Tech before he was hailed as head coach for Kent State's Golden Flashes football team. While with the team, he led the Flashes in securing a spot in GoDaddy.com Bowl in 2012. A year later, he accepted the head coaching position at Purdue.

Darrell Hazell was born on April 14, 1964 in Cinnaminson Township, New Jersey.
