Chip Kelly is an American football coach currently working as head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is also the former head coach of the University of Oregon football team. Under his tenure, he led the team to its four BCS game appearances and three Pac-12 Conference championships. Chip Kelly is a three-time Pac-10/Pc 12 Champion coach.

Charles "Chip" Kelly  was born on November 25, 1963 in Dover, New Hampshire, U.S.. He is known to be reluctant in discussing his life outside of football.

As a coach, Chip Kelly has won numerous awards which include the Pac-10 Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, he also won as the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, Walter Camp Coach of the Year, Sporting News Coach of the Year, Associated Press Coach of the Year, and AFCA Coach of the Year.

He has also served as coach or administrator for the football teams of University of New Hampshire, Columbia University, as well as John Hopkins University.
