With an annual salary of $16 million in 2013, Jered Weaver is an American baseball plater who currently plays in the Major League Baseball for the Los Angeles Angels as the team's starting pitcher. From 2010 through 2012, Weaver has been selected for an All Star game.

Jered David Weaver was born on October 4, 1982 in Northridge, California, USA. He was attending California State University, Long Beach when he was selected by the Angels as a first round pick (12th overall) in the 2004 MLB Draft. In the same year, he won the Golden Spikes Award, the College Baseball Dick Howser Trophy, and the Roger Clemens Award. In 2011, he was signed by the Los Angeles Angels to a five-year, $85 million contract.

In November 2011, Weaver married his Kristin Travis, his girlfriend of nine long years. Weaver was also a part of the US baseball team which won a gold medal at the Pan American Games.
