Greg Maddux is a former American baseball player which has an estimated net worth of $70 million.

Greg Maddux began his career in baseball when he was trained by the late scout, Ralph Meder.  In 1984, he was picked during the second round of Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago Cubs. He was awarded his first CY Young Award in 1992.

He signed up a $28 million, five year deal with Atlanta Braves in 1993. During his stint for the Braves, he was recognized as CY Young Award for three consecutive years. He extended his stay with the team for another five years, with $57.5 million deal. He was known in the league as Mad Dog and The Professor.

With his comeback with the Cubs in 2004, Maddux became the 13th member of the 3,000 strikeout club. He was traded to Los Angeles Dodgers in 2006 and went back to the said team in 2008. In 2007, he was with San Diego Padres for a year, which he signed for a $10 million deal. A year later, he announced his retirement from the league. On January 8, 2014, he was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Gregory Alan Maddux was born on April 14, 1966 in San Angelo, Texas. He is married to Kathy Ronnow in 1989 and has two children.
