Born in Cuba, Fernando Cuza was raised in Florida. Known for his impressive bargaining skills, Cuza was influential in negotiating the contract of Miguel Cabrera with the Tigers, which was worth $152 million, as well as on Alonso Soriano's deal with the Cubs known to worth $136 million.
