The number of multi-million dollar celebrity homes set to be destroyed by Hurricane Irma is staggering.

The Category five hurricane, said to be the most powerful storm ever recorded, is barreling towards South Florida and is set to make landfall over the weekend. Miami and neighboring Miami Beach are square in the storm’s path, with dozens of celebs set to lose their picturesque winter homes.

According to TMZ, both P-Diddy and Gloria Estefan are known to have expensive villas in Miami proper, while Phil Collins, Shakira, Dwayne Wade, and Birdman all own houses in nearby Miami Beach. Not to mention the famous Versace mansion Casa Casuarina.

Things get even worse if you look at the surrounding islands of the Caribbean. Johnny Depp, Eddie Murphy, and famed magician David Copperfield all own homes in the Bahamas which could endure a direct hit from Irma. Nearby Turks and Caicos is also at very high risk, with both Bruce Willis and Keith Richards set to lose property.

The tiny island of St. Martin already endured the full wrath of Irma, and the small Caribbean island has been utterly devastated.

Meanwhile, on the British Virgin Islands, billionaire Richard Branson emerged from his wine-cellar bunker to a scene of complete desolation.

"I have never seen anything like this hurricane. Necker and the whole area have been completely and utterly devastated. We are still assessing the damage, but whole houses and trees have disappeared," he said in a blog post transcribed via satellite phone, as all local communications are still down.

The Virgin Group mogul bunkered down Wednesday night in his fortified wine cellar along with his team with about a dozen people split between two rooms. The group all played card games while howling winds and crashing waves surrounded Branson’s villa.

"All of the team who stayed on Necker and Moskito during the hurricane are safe and well," he reported after emerging Thursday. After seeing the destruction, he quickly appealed for donations to the hurricane struck Caribbean islands.

"I would urge everyone to donate to the British Red Cross through Virgin Money Giving (who are waiving their fees in support of the appeal) to help local communities," he said.

Hurricane Irma has killed at least 14 people across the Caribbean, with the death toll expected to rise in the coming days.
