Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are taking drastic measures to ensure that their two young children do not turn out to be a**holes, including getting rid of a popular holiday tradition: Christmas presents!

Kutcher and Kunis admitted to Entertainment Tonight that they would not be gifting their children, Wyatt, 2, and Dmitri, 10 months, any Christmas presents this year in an effort to not "raise a**holes."

Kunis remarked, "Our tradition is no presents for the kids. We’re instituting it this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn’t really matter. Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much. We didn’t give her anything — it was the grandparents. The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff."

In order to make sure this doesn't happen again, Kunis and Kutcher have already warned their families about their no-gift rule for this coming holiday season: “We’ve told our parents, ‘We’re begging you — if you have to give her something, pick one gift,” Mila said. “Otherwise, we’d like to take a charitable donation, to the Children’s Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want.’ That’s our new tradition.”

Kunis continued to say how she never celebrated Christmas until moving to America from Russia.  Since she and her family participated in Christmas tree decorating and other fun holiday events.

“I come from communist Russia, where you’re not allowed to be happy, so my holiday traditions are ‘be quiet. Coming to America is when you realize Christmas has a magical quality to it," Kunis said. "In Russia, back in the day, it was a very religious holiday, so you don’t celebrate Christmas if you’re not Christian and if you’re not at Mass. So I, being Jewish, was like, ‘Christmas is not for you.’”

She goes on to talk about how Christmas in America felt "inclusive," and even though she was Jewish, she felt, and knew, that it was still okay for her to celebrate Christmas.  She also said her family loves any holiday, for it is an excuse to gather family and get drunk.

Along with the fact that their children are so young that they won't remember their Christmas gifts, Kunis believes that this, along with other parental guidance, will help make sure that she and Ashton raise good people.

“Yeah, we're not gonna raise a**holes. There's enough a**holes in this world!” she said. “We don't need to contribute."
