Mahdi Al Tajir is considered as one of the wealthiest individuals in the UK and is also known for his extensive collection of antique silver artifacts and carpets. He often engages in philanthropic activities, donating large amounts of money to charities and non-governmental organizations. Mahdi Al Tajir has also been active in education, providing scholarships for numerous excelling students.

Originally from Bahrain, Al Tajir got his start by organising the customs department in Dubai.
